As of today, Blackberry owning Macintosh users no longer have to struggle with weak third party software when syncing their phone. RIM announced and released a version of the classic Desktop Manager software for the Macintosh.
The interface is actually quite a bit cleaner than the PC counter part and contains all of the popular features that exist for the PC world. Most notably the Media Syncing system has been put in place and from early reviews is working well and is a much needed feature given the limitations iTunes places on syncing with Blackberry devices.
Probably the most important feature for business users is going to be the seamless backup and restore capabilities. This was one of the riskiest aspects to being a Mac and Blackberry user, but that has changed today. You can selectively backup individual databases or force the software to backup everything on the device.
You can download this software directly from the Blackberry website and we highly recommend it.
